and when did you know they were "the one" ?

We met at a Red Light!  True Story....Been married 8 yrs. I was with a friend of mine who is not shy, and when I glanced over at him in his truck, I told her that he was "hot", and so she said to him "she thinks your hot" and we ended up pulling over a few miles down the road and meeting. It was Love at first sight!  I had also told her before we ever talked to him that He was going to be the man that I would marry. I knew it the first time I saw him

I have been married for many years, we were first neighbors, that`s how we got to know each other.

A co-worker introduced me to her brother. She had been working with me for a few years or so so she knew me and of course, she knows her brother. She said to me one day that me and her brother would be perfect for each other. Now we are married. I knew he was the one because we were so similar, there was a lot of respect, not a lot of fights, and we were like best buddys and still are.

I knew she was the one when I was in an accident at work, and we had only been dating a few weeks, and she rushed to the hospital to see me, even though i told her i was fine, and i wasn't dying or anything like that.

When you find you don't ever fight, and you both seem to live to make the other happy, then you are set.

We meet through a mutual friend randomly and started hanging out together it took us a year to make any moves but when we finally did it was just "casual" it was when we went to break it off coz he was moving that I knew he was the one, it felt like he was breaking my heart after only a month of casual dating when usually in any other simlar situation I would have gotten over it. It was the same for him, he moved back after only 3 weeks of being away and proposed to me after only 3 months... going on 4 years later we are still happy in love :-)

I met him on the internet, a 'chance' meeting. I fought my feelings for him and denied I was in love for about 3 months. Once I finally admitted my feelings I was hooked and totally happy.

I flew to Cairo, alone, met my new family and married him as fast as i could! I never had a doubt about his honesty or a fear of our future, because most of that had been discussed before we married.  I dont expect him to become a stranger, since I accept his flaws, AS IS. And he accepts me for who I AM. Not some fictional characture I conjured up on the net.

We have been married for 2 yrs and 3 months and every bit of it, even the disagreements, has been a blessing. Growing together and respect for the other, makes us a stronger couple.  Best of luck to ya!

This is gonna sound sappy but i swear it's the truth. I had a rough childhood and when i turned 16 my mom died that left me with dad. We never really got along mostly because he used me as a punching bag. At this point I figured if their was a God he wouldn't have let mom died and he wouldn't leave me with dad if he loved us like he said. Well things only got worse and one night I prayed to God to send me anyone to help with the pain to take me for me and the next day my future wife almost ran me over with a van. As they do my past leered it's head and when I went to see her at her house for the first time she ran me away with the help of her huge dog from h**l(it was a rat terrier but I was scared it might as well been Cujo). A few weeks went by and she decided to give me a chance. That was 8 years ago we have been married for 5 years and have a beautiful little girl. When she starts driving me crazy I always think about this and it reminds me how much I love her. I LOVE YOU TINA!!
