  8. i started of slowly just watching a game here and there hoping SA would do well but if they didn't it didn't affect but then me and a few of my cousins we started loving cricket never miss SA playing when they lose we get sad, i have great memories one of the best was going to the opening game of the t20 world cup last year at wanderer's it was amazing an atmosphere that i have never and will never experience again then like the 438 game against Australia most of us had given up before SA batted then we won and in the West Indies they needed two runs to win of four balls with three wickets left and Langefelt took a hat trick or recently in Pakistan where the game was gone they needed only 40 runs with six wickets and we won by 11 runs those games make me love cricket and my team

  10. Like most others , I played cricket in my first school. Both boys & girls played together. I once bowled my teacher out for a duck. He was in the local cricket team, so I was quite proud of myself.

  11. im  a sri lankan living abroad.....but having been born in sri lanka and all my family being sri lankan i guess it made me a cricket fan. love the game play it all the time when i go to SL for holidays.

  12. well i think for me it started when i was about 4 watching it on TV and then i'd go outside with my bat and throw a tennis ball at the wall and try and hit it, i played my first game for the school aged 6 and i've been playing and watching ever since, i've even told my GF of nearly 4 years that when we get married, you better not want a date in summer! i've also told my best friend that if she gets married on a Satuday in cricket season, then i'll make it to the reception but not the wedding (i mean come on, i cant let the team down LOL!)

now a summer just wouldnt be the same without seeing the boys in there Baggygreens!! and also what about boxing day!! I couldnt get thru christmas if there was no Boxing Day Test!! and how good is it! its part of australian culture now, i think its un-Australian not to sit on your backside all day, watch the cricket and enjoy a cold drink! as far as i'm concerned, its better than Christmas!!

EDIT: once again, i dont give many of these, but you get a star for this one!

  13. I am born cricket fan
