  1. If the school participates in the federal aid programs complete the application at http://www.fafsa.ed.gov to be considered for grants and low-interest loans.

  2. I have also decided to go to hair school. I want to go full time so I plan on cutting down my hours as a waitress.

I work at a nice (not fancy) restaurant in Oklahoma City and do pretty well. It is mostly easy once you get the hang of it and if you are money hungry, knowledgable, and work at a well liked place you can make a lot. Your hours will be really flexible. I would say I average 500-700 a week no problem. I think I work about 25 hours.

I think it would be worth checking out. That is also what my succesful hairdresser did throughout school.Good Luck.

  3. Most students work...they ether work after school, or do part time(From 9-to 2:30.), and then work.
