How and why did your birth control method fail you? What did you do when you found out you were pregnant/fathered a child? What would you do differently?

and microgynon 30

i have no ides how lol, with the mircogynon pill i took it regular, no sickness etc and the depo I have evn less of an idea i must be super fertile, mind seems i have twins maybe i am!

Laying on my bed thinking "OK, how many days since my wife's cycle started?  Hmmm...1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6.........d**n (math's not that good when my wife flirts with me)"

Pregnacy test confirmed it about 2 weeks later......oh well....... Now I have a handsome 5 year old boy.

Only took us 1 try to make our daughter.   Wife got me fixed after that.    Works so far.

I was 15 and on depo provera shot. I almost passed out when I found out. I could not believe it. 2 months later my sister who was in her late 20's found out she was pregnant and she was also on the shot. Our family was freaking out!! That was 12 years ago.

Sorry i cant answer tis because i was ttc for 3 months , but this is a very good and interesting question. ** star for you ** i know one of my sisters that got pregnant at 15 was using condoms and failed. It slipped off apparently.

I was on Yaz pills and they just didn't prevent it.

I think it was just meant to be. My doctor says that it was a miracle I conceived him at all because the doc who delivered my first bothed my c-section, and all my internal organs were fused together with scar tissue, and she says it is mind boggling that I managed to carry him to full term. We only found this out after I spent 17 hours in labor before having a second c-section, which explained why my cervix wasn't dialating even though my water broke on it's own.

I was kinda freaked at first because I was having a lot of problems in my relationship at the time, but I would never go back and change anything.

I was on the pill and we used condoms.

I got my positive pregnancy test this past Thursday!

I can't remember for the life of me the condom breaking or me missing the pill so I don't think it was error, just meant to be!

Taking antibiotics while on the pill. It was my own fault. I knew better.

It all turned out great. After two boys, we finally got our girl. She's 5 now!
