How did your parents explain where babies came from when you were little?

I never asked my mom. I just learned about it in school with all the videos in about 7th-8th grade.

They always told me the stork (is that how you spell it?!) one-a stork would deliver me through the window in a blanket...I believed it too!!!

At school we had an education group come in and talk to us!

And my Mum brought a book there and then she red me the book and explained to me what it was about!

My parents never really talked to me about it.  I had to learn about it in school.  Honestly, I would have not been so confused about it if my parents would have just got the nerve up and told me the things I needed to know.  It is not a good idea to have kids relying on friends to tell them about that stuff.

my mother told me the truth when I asked. I didnt care too much, i just said "okay" and went on my merry little way. it even started out with the classic "when a man and a woman love each other very much, they decide to get maried. (cant spell) once and AFTER (she just had to put emphasis on that) they are maried..." if you are a parent wondering what to do, i would tell the truth. it is better to find out from a parent then some kid at school. if you are going to tell them that, i would also tell them that "if anyone ever tries to touch you there, go and tell a grown-up right away." it may seem silly, but it could really make a diference, you can never be too safe when it comes to that.

me and my moms were watching soul food and one of the s*x scenes came on...i ask her what it was and she told me...and that how i found out

They cut a hole like in a pumpkin and take the baby out then put it back on and stitch it up.  I believe I got that answer because I asked at the moment what happened - it was my understanding of what they said.

ive already told my eldest i told him the truth that a man and women have s*x the sperm gos into the egg and make the baby mum carries baby for about 9 months and gives birth out of her Virgina he asked lots of question and i answered them all to the best i could i think if ur truthfull to ur kids they respect it
