How did your team go in today's Pre-season & Rookie draft?

West Coast Eagles selected Patrick McGinnity of Claremont with their No. 7 pick.

They also picked the following for their rookie list;

Lewis Stevenson - Claremont

Ashley Arrowsmith - Calder Cannons

Will Sullivan - Western Jets

Callum Wilson - South Fremantle

WCE have an uncanny knack of identifying young talent. I don't know much about Arrowsmith & Sullivan but they must show some promise.

I bet they are over the moon to have been selected by the nations Number 1 club!

i go for eagles n dunt know who some of them are but they sound pritty good. im sure as u said they must show some promise to be picked. im sure theyll develop into good players

I haven't really noticed, It's still far too early to talk about drafts i think.

I haven't taken much notice of our draft picks this year, I did notice a young 17 year old from Victoria. I have a bad feeling that we're gonna have a lot of trouble with our Crows this year.

Don't know missed the news was doing a weight session, so who did the Dee's pick up.

In one word, c**p.

With the exception of Chris Kangers we (Geelong) picked up what seem to be dudds.

We should have gotten Todd Grima back.

Shane Mumford = fat and slow to be honest, he struggled to get a game for our VFL team!
