Question:

How difficult is AP Bio?

Last year, (Junior year), I took AP Chem and did fairly well. This year, I decided to take AP Bio, but feel i've bitten off more than I can chew lol. I've heard many things about how much stuff there is to memorize. Will a chemistry background help at all in AP Bio? I haven't started the summer assignment, but I'm going to later today or tomorrow. Also, if you have taken both AP Bio and Chem, which one do you think is harder? AP Chem is very difficult with almost infinite calculations, but AP Bio is all about memorization I guess.

  1. AP Bio is pretty easy - yeah it is a lot of memorization but a lot of it is stuff you learned in regular bio and if you still know that you should be okay.

  2. AP chem is great for AP bio. I took honors bio in freshman year, did great, but memorized a lot of things that benefitted me. Don't worry, if you excelled in chem, then bio will be fine.

  3. I heard that the AP Chem test is one of the hardest ones.
