How difficult is it for a UK citizen to move to The US? Would marrying someone make it easier.....?

to get here? I mean, I heard it was easier outside of the US, but I see so many foriegners , surely they aren't ALL married to Americans? Anyone know?

It depends on what brings them here.  If you are studying at university it's easier.  If you have an occupation that is sought after (nursing, engineering, teaching, etc) it is easier.  Marrying an American may help you to get a visa to come here.  However, it will probably restrict you from working for at least a year.

Every other month i see at least 2 women that are taken a turn for the worst. Because they think it's easy just to get married to an American man. The men then use immigration over their heads. These women become slaves. The easy way isn't always EASY.

Lots of people are here for different reasons. Some countries offer the visa lottery and other people are here working on different kinds of visa's.  Some are here on an illegal basis.

I married a US citizen and it wasn't easy.  We had to prove our relationship with travel documents, emails, phonecalls, letters, pictures etc.  I don't understand how people can make this up when they don't have a true relationship, however, most people find a way to get what they want.
