Question:

How difficult is it to become a civil engineer?

I had just been accepted to Cal Poly Pomona, and I was thinking about civil engineering. However, I am afraid to dive into that major because I worry that it may be way to difficult, and I should just go into nursing. I could see myself as a nurse more than an engineer, but I'm confused on what to do!

  1. If you can see yourself as a nurse rather than an engineer, then here is your answer.

Like anything, if you are not sufficiently motivated to study a particular course, then that course will be difficult for you.

I love technology and could not see myself as nurse, and so if I were to force myself to study nursing, I would probably find it a difficult course.

Do what your heart dictates and you will excel in it. Passion makes apple pie out of anything :)
