How difficult is it to become a pre-school teacher in Illinois?

I know you have to meet DCFS standards. Is that just a background check or are there other things that go along with it? Thanks

  1. It isn't difficult at all. Basically, that is all it is. You have a background check and of course you'll need a high school diploma. As long as you have a clean record and HS education, then you'll be able to work in the pre-school classroom.
