  1. Hello, remove the automatic, then the fly wheel bolted to the crank. Now you need a equalizer bar plus pivot ball which bolts to the engine. The equalizer bar goes on the frame and to the pivot ball on the engine, this is what your clutch pedal connects to. Then you need a clutch plate and pressure plate that will connect to the flywheel plus the throw out bearing that will ride on the manual transmission pilot. Finally the transmission plus linkage and drive shaft that fits the tail of the transmission. A wrecking yard has all of what you need.

  2. Much harder and more expensive than just selling the car and buying one that came from the factory with a manual - and the factory built car will work correctly.

  3. Rumbler is right but you must make sure that the rear of the crankshaft will take a flywheel in place of the drive plate that an auto uses to hold the torque converter.

Most will but not all and it would cost a lot of money to remove the engine, strip it and fit a new crank.

I converted my old BMW 316 auto to manual some years ago and it was fairly straight forward using s/h parts.

  4. You need a pedal box, clutch, and obviously the gearbox, can be done, depends how confident you feel, and what tools you got.
