Do they have analytical/policy type positions? What type of work experience are they looking for? I have reviewed their employment website already, not terribly helpful.

  1. You must have govt. connections of some sort. Try working for the state dpt in the US, or if your' not an American then try to get a job with its equivalent in your country. What you also could try doing is picking up and internship position with your congressman or working on a campaign, then mention it.

  2. WHAT THE h**l!! DO YOU KNOW THE U.N. WANTS TO DISARM  AMERICA, AND YOU WANT TO WORK FOR THIS GARBAGE!!

  3. when i was 19 or so i was hired by the u.n. but refused the job because of the low pay.-- i made a misstake  many years ago.--If I were you I'd contact apply for unicef or another un based org thats how u  get in the door.--unicef hired me as a page where you basically run errands but eventually you make the contacts who will put you on their staff ..-good luck
