How difficult is it to tow a Caravan?

I'm terrified of towing a caravan but my dad wants me to (he cant do it anymore). I am a very experianced driver, I have just never towed anything before!

I recommend doing the Caravan Club Towing course. It is excellent . You  practise with their caravans  but you can stay in your own if you wish but not use it for the course. Both my husband and I did  the course  some years ago. Once you have done that you will have the confidence to tow--.

Its not difficult at all, just watch that you don't drive too fast and take it easy on the bends

Its not difficult at all but I would suggest you have a look at the link below to make sure you are entitled to tow. my job involves a lot of towing and the younger employees are not allowed to tow because they have not been driving long enough even though they are very experienced drivers.

you might get away with it but if you get caught or have an accident then the problems start.

The towing is fine. It is the reversing that's the hard bit.

....think of it as just a long car....problems come when you need to reverse....
