How difficult is it to transfer universities when you have already completed junior undergrad year? ?

What if I'm looking to transfer to another state exp.(California to North Carolina). Do all my classes transfer as long as I complete my junior year? What happens with FAFSA?

  1. Transfer credits are totally up to the univ. that you're headed to. Usually, if they're both accredited, they accept MOST of them - maybe 3/4?

    FAFSA, you just fill out for the next year with a different code. Be sure to inform any loan lenders that you're enrolled in a new school, so that they don't start billing you yet.


  2. I dont know about FAFSA, but i do know that most colleges will only allow 2 years of credit transfers, so you might have to retake somethings.
