  1. Im British.

Do you have to be able to lasso a bull and fire a gun whilst driving in Texas.

  2. This test is ridiculously difficult. I reside in Texas, and failed after studying non-stop for two weeks. About three weeks of study would suffice.

  3. its on par with the rest of the country

  4. It's not that hard. If you've practiced with your instructor and studied the manual, you should be fine. I know people that literally cannot read that have passed. (One guy I worked with had to take a typed note, that I'd translated to spanish for him, home to his wife to have her tell him what it said.) If he can get a license, anyone can.

The only thing I can recommend beyond studying and practicing is taking the test in a conservative car with good equipment and the cheapest stereo in the world.

My brother swore up and down that he failed because he went to take the test in my mother's Mustang. He went back Celica she rented the next day and aced it with the same trooper riding along.

    Drive friendly, drive right.

<edit> No, Mark, roping and shooting while driving aren't prerequisite. Not to say it can't be done, but it probably shouldn't be attempted by our drivers. I recommend making sure that you're wearing the safety belt when roping, at least if you want to stay with the vehicle, anyway.

  5. How difficult is Texas? I've never been.
