  2. only one I've managed to take apart was put together with hidden fixings.  Screwed down decks are just as hard to get up as nailed ones as after 6 months all the s***w heads are full of rubbish.

  3. It would need to be completely dismantled..

    essentially, you would be building a new deck with used lumber....

    It would be easier to start with new lumber.. and probably cheaper when you consider the time spent dismantling....

Difficult but not beyond impossible , if the deck is to fit in the same configuration , its going to be hard , but if you are willing to make use of what you salvage,  then   go for it , buy a nail punch and start punching them nails below deck level before lifting boards , the ends may need to be trimmed , turned and re coated after re fitting but on a tight budget it will save you
