I have a job opportunity in Nashua, but would prefer to live in or near Boston. I would have to arrive at work around 6:30am, so I'm guessing the traffic wouldn't be that terrible. How long of a drive would this be?

  1. why didn't  you asses this prior to applying?  dumb butt

  2. Depending on where you are in the Boston area, you are looking at somewhere in the 60-90 minute range for a commute. Rt 3 is not that busy going northbound at that time of day!

Several things to consider if you are moving to the area. One is the cost of taxes. If you establish residency in NH, you will find your tax burden is a lot less. You will also want to compare the cost of auto insurance. Again NH has a distinct advantage financially.

    Good luck

  3. go to www.mapquest.com or use yahoo maps, and find the directions. it will give you a time that it will take, and then add between 30 and 45 minutes for traffic in.
