Would it not make a little more sense to go into church first and pray and give your tithes and if you have an urge to try your luck then put a buck in and just pull! God bless all

  1. In a word, yes.

My grandmother used to go out during a full moon, open up her purse and yell "fill'er up, fill'er up, fill'er up!"  claiming that it would bring money.

It didn't work, but she looked like she was having a lot of fun.

  2. I'd say it is delusional to pray for God to give you anything you want or think you need without asking him if he agrees it is in your best interests.  It does seem especially delusional to think that worldly riches are something God would think it is beneficial to give anyone on request...especially someone who put forth only the effort required to feed money in a machine!

I do believe that if we are wise stewards of the riches he already entrusted us with that he will give us more to manage...but I don't think anyone would call a slot machine a wise investment.

  3. LOL.

  4. The way I see God - It doesn't DO anything.  It doesn't grant wishes - or judge - or punish.  God is a power.  It's the power of love and goodness.  Prayer is getting inside your head and realizing that God is within you - and you have It's love and goodness to accomplish whatever you need.

God is not about luck - It's about recognizing your blessings and being grateful for them.

    Namaste!!

  5. I personally don't think it is right to ask God for anything. However if you are in a financial struggle you can ask him to help you. But is money really that important to you? Being rich in family, life and God is the best thing for you.

  6. Prayer isn't needed. Simply compile a logarithm based on probability and chance and you'll 1 out of 5 get the jackpot.

  7. Both acts you suggest are delusional, since they assume a God exists without any evidence.

  8. Not if you hit the jackpot...

  9. i'd say no more delusional than praying for anything else to happen.

  10. God doesn't honor a prayer when it involves doing a sin to get what you want. Gambling is a sin according to the Bible.

  11. your right people use GOD when it fits the moment.
