Question:

How dirty do white snowboarding boots really get? I got the Vans Kira Boas in White/Rose and?

I got the Vans Kira Boas in White/Rose and the burton stilletto bindings in white. I originally bought another color, but they were too small, and these are the only ones they had left in my size. I really like the boot, and it fits well...I was just wondering how awful they will look after a few runs or days of runs. Thanks!

  1. The most important thing is that the boot fits you well i wouldent worry about the colour too much. They shouldent get dirty anyway as snow is water based ,so should you pick up some dirt some how the snow will clean it off easy enough. Good luck with the riding.

  2. depends on how the snow is at your local resort

they'll get less dirty than white shoes

  3. Usually your pants cover most of your boots, and your binding cover the rest, so they don't get that dirty.  Unless you are rocking tight pants, then maybe.

White boots will be most likely to get dirty in the parking lot during the spring when the snow is melting into a muddy brown slush.

  4. It depends upon the materials that the boot is made of and what it comes in contact with.  I have white boots that are a year old.  They have "yellowed" a bit but still look white and clean.  I have seen other boots that looked bad where the bindings hold them down - some kind of color transfer.  My bindings are white too - so I don't have that problem.  The snow does not cause problems, but obviously if you are trudging through the mud it might be an issue.

Take good care of your equipment and it will take good care of you!

  5. I had white and silver boots and they didn't really get dirty the frist to times, But like I get random mud stains and things in the park. If you take care of them, you'll be okay for a while.

  6. They won't get dirty unless you board over mud, but thats unlikely. From a snow boarder myself they won't get dirty.

  7. Don't worry. I have had 2 pairs of white boots (Vans and Burton) before. They won't hardly get dirty. If you are still shaky, just cover the tops of the boots w/ your pant legs.
