If I should count them, they would outnumber the sand.

I always feel the hand of the Father in my life. He is a prayer away. He is near me when I am brokenhearted. He knows my thoughts and numbers the hairs on my head. He knows when I lay down and get up and is familiar with all of my ways. He is very close. He hears me when I cry out to Him. He is an awesome and wonderful God! The answer to your question is that He is always close. If I feel that He is far away, it is because I have distanced myself from Him. He remains in the same place ready to welcome me back.
