  3. they dont "beat" our immune system per say......the HIV is just like any other virus......it injects its RNA into our cells and uses the cells reproduction process to replicate viruses instead of new cells........in the case of HIV, it injects itself into our white blood cells, or t-cells, and HIV will just lay dormant for a period of time before it will kill the cell and begin replication of itself, turning it into full blown AIDS.......the main problem with AIDS is that it lays dormant while the rest of your white blood cells are infected......we have yet to figure out what the trigger is that starts the replication process.............hope this helps
