  1. It's a Tragedy.

    It's Horror, horror.........horro........???????????

    Regards.

  2. dont think they care because the propaganda in america has reched the levels of propaganda in hitlers germany it is and always has been a common trait of large imperialist countries to use exesive force and not to care about the results sinche they have nbody to answer to . i consider every soldier fighting outside his borders a criminal. the only force i can justify is defensive force when a country is invaided. force used to protect the economical (oil) interests of a counties elit is plain murder and an insult to humanity. if you dont want future terorists then u sould consider treating the world better. people wherever they come from r not going to just sit around and watch america destroy their county. of course terrorists r murderers and criminals also but the way to stop them is not to use the same methods to stop them as the ways u used to create them

  3. It's so saddening to read many of the answers to this question. Day by day the claim that America is embracing fascism seems increasingly real. The utter hypocrisy and wilful blindness of these answers is an act of intellectual feebleness, cowardice, and moral deficiency. The world's hope that the American people will curb their imperialist elite is fast diminishing. The current American elections are already clearly a fraud and there are few governments around the world that are not bought and paid members of the U.S. hegemony.

None of us can now feel safe. The charge of extremist and terrorist hurled so carelessly at these child victims (in a country America claims to be saving) is mirrored by rhetoric directed against anyone who dares protest the American corporate-war machine, whether they are in Washington, London, Tokyo, Delhi, or anywhere else on this poisoned planet. The denials of guilt hiding behind the excuse of 'intent' is sickening when the consequences of invading and bombing a country are clear, and more so in a war that has lasted almost seven years and already achieved over 10,000 'without intent' civilian deaths.

The American elite and their apologists can expect that the world's poor will not accept this oppression much longer. The world's poor will continue to organise and unite, and the corporate-army of the 'new world order' will soon face revolt in every corner of the globe.

As a non-American I feel the shame of my own country's complicity in this war crime, and all the other war crimes that have so far marked the 21st Century with the red badge of murder. The emptiness and sadness that mingle within me make me feel like a helpless spectator watching Christians being fed to lions. But I will not rest in this nauseous condition. The great challenge of helping to organise global opposition continues.

  4. Your "question" assumes there was intent involved.  Comparing us to terrorists is as absurd as your reasoning skills.  The Guardian is a far cry from being an objective media outlet.  However, incidences such as the loss of innocent lives is always a tragedy.  Your feeble attempt to sully the ethics and image of us as Americans and our armed forces does nothing to sway the minds of clear-thinking and fair-minded people.  So you may now go crawl back under the rock from whence you came.

"No guilt or apology from the Americans - clearly killing foreign kids is a normal part of life for them."

Clearly you are as far removed from reality as a psyche patient on ten hits of acid.  How exactly did your thought processes develop in such a flawed way?  Do you honestly think Americans in general don't care about children, regardless of where they come from?  If you do I feel extreme pity for you.  However I think your laughable conclusions are merely a guise for your irrational anti-Americanism.  Because no one is THAT stupid.  It wouldn't matter what we did as a nation, short of being totally eliminated, that would be to your satisfaction.  Here's some advice for you bud, lay off the Kool-Aid.

To Trout - The Middle East is currently a breeding ground for international terrorism.  So, yes, it does (or at least it should) matter to you all.  We can agrue about the methods in how we deal with it.  I know I have my complaints.  But if we let this scourge continue to thrive unchecked you can kiss your sweet Canadian *** good bye.

  5. No one feels good about killing kids, but America really has no choice, this is WW3.

  6. the don't care they killed thousands of civilians they don't care in the name of fighting terrorism they any body the want

  7. I have no idea why Canadian Forces are there in the first place

Since we the great allies have been there heroin crops have quadrupled

Now if you could convince me that these Afghans are threat to Canada then maybe I'd agree with the government position

It seems unlikely that if we pull out - that the Afghan army is going to launch an invasion of Nova Scotia

No one interfered with the stupidity of Europe which went on for centuries and centuries - I see no reason why we should interfere in the stupidity of Afghans now

Perhaps it is callous or colonial of me but shouldn't we be building a road system in our far north or putting in a subway in some urban center first - before we go fixing someone else's nation ?

  8. Take notes from Russia, overwhelming force,no asking permission,no apologizing.Bam,they got what they wanted.THAT"S how you fight a war.America has too many spoon fed pacifists who have never known anything but prosperity, and therefore speak idiotic things.War is when civilization breaks down. You don't win by apologizing, you win by being more brutal.Keep being pacifist, your children will pay for your naive kumbaya mindset

  9. Terrible.  We should deploy every B 52, B1, B2 we have and carpet bomb pakistan so the terrorists cant use these afgan kids as human shields anymore.  If we dont engage the enemy how many of these kids would be murdered in the future for singing or dancing by the taliban?

The solution is not to bury our heads in the sand and pretend the terrorist problem will go away by itself.  Engage the enemy and defeat them.  The afgani's that allow terrorists to hide amongst their children bear the full responsibility of any collateral damage.
