  1. Cultural Anthropologist live in the area they are studying and they ask a lot of questions. They try to make friends and get informants. You have to be prepared to live in the area for anywhere between 1-5 years. (or until the grant money runs out!)

    Archaeologist get a hypotheses and then they dig in the area and then they take the stuff back to the lab and test it to see how old it is and stuff like that.
