  2. Indigenous Australians gather in groups, not tribes, but are still classified as tribes by some.  The Jawoyn people (also called Tjauen, Chau-an, Tweinbol, Charmong and other names) are located in the Northern Territory of Australia.

    The central and western regions of Australia are desert and historically these areas have been associated with many different groups each having their own coping mechanisms.
