There are three possible reasons you threw up:

1) You ate the 'fish and chips' which is for tourists only

2) You ate the pies, which are there as a prank only.

3) You avoided (1) and (2) above, but when you ate the proper food from the list, you drank some of the curry house lager with it, which is sold as an emetic and is supposed to make you throw up.

If you don't like our food then don't eat it. Eat you own 'fine American cuisine' such as supersize fries, burgers, and your precious peanut butter and 'jelly' sandwiches and become a fat ba$tard just like your fellow countrymen. Simple =]

If you're from the U.S., I assume that you threw up because you're not used to eating food that actually tastes of something. Get used to it: most of the Western world eats food that hasn't been processed to tasteless, additive-riddled mush.

ha, what meal was it?I agree most of our food is kinda cr*ppy but well the classics like fish&chips and pie&mash if you're form London are good!

Oh and I guess an actual answer would be that we eat with our forks in our left hands and knives in the right!
