How do Carribeans looks differ from African Americans?

I get recognized as an Islander a lot. I live in an area w/o many Carribean people but there are a lot of African Americans. So what makes a person "look" Carribean as opposed to AA? Thanks

I Guess Carribeans have much more chances to be mixed than African Americans

i'm an Islander and i'm sooo mixed it's ridiculous

And it's also just people judging . Normally if your facial features are too fine, your nose isn't wide

then you cannot be African American

it's ridiculous! DNA and recessive genes
