  1. From my understanding that is a socio-political problem and has nothing to do with the faith itself.

  2. The whole Northern Ireland thing was about nationalistic leanings, Christianity was always the scapegoat.

  3. Thankfully it would seem that the troubles in Ireland are pretty much over. I don't believe that churches teach their congregations to hate each other, and that however misguided Christians may be the fundamental teachings attributed to Jesus are peaceful.

In the first instance Henry VIII's Protestants were sent over to start colonies in Ireland and convert and push out the Catholics, resulting in feuds, resentment and land battles that have gone on up until recent times.

Fortunately in the UK far less importance is now given to religion and nobody really cares whether you're protestant, catholic, or whatever. The cause of the resentment has evapourated and gone.

  4. The Northern Irish problem is much more political than Religious, The Unionists are Protestant the Republicans are Catholic. They don't kill each other because their church services are different. Its because 2/3 consider themselves British 1/3 Irish.

  5. christianity in todays standard is nothing like jesus started.

but a group of people saw it as a way to gain power with fear.

it is natural that enemies were not going to join together, but this group that is still active today, used these divisions  to their own advantage.

think about this the whole christian  world is based with all it's laws as God given.

so in a world with out these divisions and names other than jesus that they follow, in reality more people are evolutionists so why and how then do we still pay money to counsels as rates and so on.

our whole society is a con based around around a ruling elite, and from children we are brain washed to it.

do not get me wrong i feel the teachings in the bible man needs, but how it is taught and what it has become is not christ like but anti christ.

i feel myself that these people that fight for a name and a teaching will be in for a rude shock.

  6. That's about power - not love of God.

    I checked your link.

So you have a superiority complex over Christians.

    Why do you hate Christians?

  7. I think the biggest issues in Ireland are not Faith based but political. However I must say as a Christian I believe there is a level of hate among denominations. Like Catholics and Protestants. I was taught as a protestant that catholics were evil, but I later learned it was the Baptist we had to worry about:)

  8. This is very in depth and not about religion as such, there is a deep history there between Ireland and England I honestly wouldn't know where to start. take Apartheid for example the segregation this was in force for many years and as someone once said ''Man fears what it does not understand''. Northern Ireland was segregated too Both sides committed wrongs and revenge on each other, politics & Media was the biggest enemy of both sides creating fear and hate. Today after integration and talks there is a Small or null if you like element of violence and hatred within the region and there is now peace.
