Redistricting.

The politicians in some states can draw congressional districts any way they want. So they draw some to ensure that the candidate of their party will get elected, no matter how unqualified they are.

It would be nice if she was the only one, but she isn't. If you want to be terrified at just how doomed our future is, watch C-Span. You will be horrified when you realize that 70% of our elected representatives have nothing more than an 8th grade education. They are not qualified to tie their own shoes, let alone represent us in government. It's a testament to the power of marketing (lying propaganda) that these people ever get elected.
