Do DC boots run true to shoe size? I'm a 9.5 in shoes should I get a 9.5 or a 9 in DC boots? I'm not going higher than my size cause when they pack out the will be too big and dont want any heel lift... heel lift=bad news. So someone with experience with DC boots please tell me how they run. Thanks.

  1. You'd wanna go with the 9 probably small size you can fit in tighter feel to it which come give you the heel lift. But if you can't stand then comfort of having you foot in a tight fit then go with the 9.5

These are the ones I have but in 11s I wear 11.5 so its whichever you feel.

  2. Hey, I just bought some DC boots and I think they run pretty roomy.  Honestly, you have to try them on to really notice.  I normally wear 6-6.5 tennis shoes and 6.5-7 dress shoes (all depending on brand though) but I fit a 6 in the DC boots.

If you are buying online, find a website that will allow returns.  Buy both sizes 9 and 9.5 and then return the one that doesn't fit so well.  Or stop in a store, try them on and then make your decision.

DCs run wider because of what they normally make (boarder shoes) so I had to adjust my bindings so they fit better.  In your case, if you forced me to choose between the 9 or 9.5, I would choose the 9.

  3. Most DC boots will be similar widths whatever size you get. If you find you are getting heel lift DC probably arnt the best brand for you as they make quite a wide boot. Try a brand that makes slimmer fit boots like Northwave, Salomon or Rome they will probably fit your feet better. Good luck with the riding.
