How do Friesians do with other animals?

Hey i live with my uncle at his zoo and as well as earning from that we also sell Black Arabian Horses. Anyway with the arabians horses i have got them used to the big cats at the zoo, even the big siberian tigers. We had one horse that cam to us quite old but he was very smart and after training he like the tigers as well. All the cats are hand raised and the horses help to control them when they go to the beach. Also Horses are used by our park rangers.

So any way we are getting a few Friesians and i wanted to know how are they in terms of personallity and beahivor. With training will they be able to be calm with other animals speciafically sibierian tigers as the zoo was orginally a sacnturay for them

  1. We're here, We're here, HPTS to the rescue..yet again!!

I would say every horse has their own horseanality and some may adapt and some may see themselves as a big piece of meat...you know, for breakfast or lunch or an evening snack.  Perhaps the fact that they are all black would make them act the same..you know..like "peas in a pod" or "birds of a feather flock together".

I mean do they get up close and personal?  Go swimming together and make sand castles?

I would say it is how they are brought up and how nice one is to the other.  My cat loves to play with his pet mouse Mickey.  But we did a very slow introduction and let them get to know each other at their own pace.

I think Friesians used to carry men in suits of armour while slaying dragons so they seem to be a very courageous and noble breed.

    Good Luck..sounds exciting!!

Ah..yet another dilemma solved by HPTS

  2. i owuld say best to talk to who evere you are buying them off aspecially breeders as they will be able to tell you all about those certian horses behaviors and their parents grandparents etc

  3. Horses controlling big cats?  On a beach?  Do you mean "Howrse" and not "horse"?

If your horses receive "special training" then I am sure the friesians will behave more or less like your other horses.

This is the weirdest setup I have ever heard of.

EDIT:  GAAAAAHAHAHAHHAHAHAAH horseinality!  Oh my, why didn't I think of that?  It explains EVERYTHING!

  4. Huh? WTF are you talking about? You don't make any sense...siberian tigers and horses?! You know that they eat horses, right?! Get off your drugs and come back to reality, please! If your not on drugs, then you clearly have a mental deficiancy or your a dumb@$$ and in either case you shouldn't be any where near horses or tigers.
