How do Hitachi cordless power tools hold up?

Question

like battery shelf life (Nimh batterys not ion) 18volt circ. saw drill and sawzaw. Any input would be nice because I have always owned dewalt or black and decker tools drills and saws

Hitachi cordless???  I have a couple in a pail in the basement...Do you want them for free???

I'll stick to my 20 year old B&D saw (original battery!)

Depends on how you plan on using them?? if once in awhile then they are OK for the casual worker, but if being used everyday then DeWalt, Makita, Royobi, Milwaukee, Blackn'Decker, than Hitachi,,, kind of in that order ,,, best to worse!!!
