How do I Add Window's Media files to my iTunes Library?

I downloaded a music video and I've been trying to send it to my iTunes Library so I could add it to my 3rd Generation iPod.

Can anyone tell me how I can transfer the file please?

  1. iTunes supports .mov and .mp4 videos,but iPod accepts only mp4 videos,if the video is .mov video,,right click the video and select 'Convert selection for iPod/iPhone',otherwise,you need a third party software to convert your videos.i recommend you the iSkysoft iPod Movie Converter.it's easy to process and support free upgrade!

      now,you can put the vides to your ipod thru iTunes.

    ps:i don't suggest you use the 'sync' function as all of your preexist videos or musics in your iPod will be covered. you can choose the videos you want to add from the iTunes's video menu and drag and drop to the video menu of iPod.
