Question:

How do I Begin Looking for the right colleges?

Although it's a few years away, how do I begin to find colleges that will best suit me, and what I want to do. I'm intrested in persuing a career in either music education and/or special education, counseling, child psychology, or something else along those lines. I live in California, and unless I get a full scholarship, money will be tight.

What are some good colleges and/or good places to start looking? (Like websites)

Also, how would you begin applying for scholarships, and at what grade level?

Thank you in advance!

  1. go to careercruising.com

i don't know if your high school has to have an account, but if it doesn't it's a really good site to go to, they have alot of info about college expenses and what not.

    for scholarships go to

fastwebs.com and set up an account, it's free and it has a butt load of scholarships.

  2. those are right! but you need help friends

  3. Go see you guidance counselor.  Decide what you need in a college (big v. small, close to home v. new places, etc.)  They usually have a guide to colleges, which tells you entrance requirements, like SAT scores and stuff.  This website will help: http://collegesearch.collegeboard.com/se...

Collegeboard.com also has a scholarship search link (I think).  It's never really too early to start thinking about how to attain your goals.  Great for you!

    Good luck!
