How do I Confirm Best Answer

I have received the notification of an answer to my question. The Email tells me I have the option to choose it as Best Answer.

The drop down Edit tab does not give this option - where is it?

I would think the problem is with your internet settings...

Is IE set to "Show pictures" and "Play animations". Does it look like something should actually be where the button should be?

For e-mail, you would get the same type of thing if your e-mail is web-based. Have you tried doing a restore defaults in Internet Explorer, maybe deleting a few cookies and clearing history - the basics.

You can try firefox, I've heard it's supposed to be good...

It should be a large button on the page of answers, one beside each answer saying 'choose as best answer'

That's only to tell you that you have received an answer to your question. Normally you choose a best answer when the time has expired for your question so everyone has a chance to answer it. You then get an email asking you to choose a best answer. If you don't choose a best answer it goes for an open vote.

you go to ur question then there is a line there said vote as best answer then click the rating then put a comment then finish
