How do I Convince my Mom to let me Borrow Money For a Hat?

Question

I need $15 US to buy a hat(not a cap, a hat), and she won't let me because she says it's ugly. The hat itself costs about $11 or so with tax, but I have to ride the JAMM bus there which costs $1 per way. And I need it quick as it's almost fall (less hats there, more caps) and they only have about 4 left. And me asking for money for clothes is like snow in New Mexico during July. It has probably never happened.

um well i would ask my mom if i could pay her back when i got the money. or like clean my house or something for money. i dont know. thats what i would do. haha
