How do I Delete Icons on my Blackberry 7250?

got the phone used... has a lot of extra icons i do not ue on the screen... any help will be appreciated!!

  1. If you want to simply hide the icons do this: Navigate to the icon you want to hide.  Hold down the alt button and click the track wheel and a menu will appear.  Click on  HIDE APPLICATION - the icon will disappear.  

    If you want to permanently uninstall the application, using the desktop software click on APPLICATION LOADER and unmark the applications you wish to uninstall and they will be deleted.   THEY WILL NOT BE RECOVERABLE IF YOU DECIDE YOU WANT THEM LATER SO BE SURE...

    You can wipe the device by going to OPTIONS / SECURITY / (GENERAL SETTINGS (if present) ) Click so menu displays and select WIPE HANDHELD - follow screen prompts.  

    CAUTION:  THE WIPE WILL ERASE ALL DATA ON THE BLACKBERRY
