How do I IM with yahoo 360?

I receive interest notifications and can look at profiles, but cannot communicate.........how do I IM ??

You and the person that you're trying to chat with need to use Yahoo! Messenger (typically the downloaded full version). See http://messenger.yahoo.com . Also, you both have to have your Yahoo! 360 Communications Settings set up to allow IMs from each other (i.e. make sure that the group selected includes the person you are trying to IM).

- Click your "Settings" link at the top of your 360 page

- Click your "Communications Settings" link on the left side

- Scroll down to the Yahoo Messenger settings and enable them for the group that includes the person you are trying to IM (see your "My Friends" page to make sure, if you aren't making it "Everyone in 360").

- Click the "Save" button

If the other person has done the same, you can IM each other from several spots. The smiley icon is next to their name in your Contact list on the "Home" page, under their name in your "Latest from friends and favorites" area on the "Home" page, under their pic in your "Friends" module, and under their profile pic on their 360 page.
