How do I Install drivers?

I restarted my computer the other day like new and I realised that that the sound was not working and a few more thing but I was told to reinstall my graphics card and I did but the sound and other stuff are still not working.

I got a cd what says "driver" on it but I'm not sure what it is for.Is it to get sound back again? because when I put it insert it to my computer it always trys printing to pictures

please help me!

  1. hi couple of things, you've probaby got a photo manager set to search all inserted media, when this comes up just click cancel to ignore it, i had the same thing with some kind of adobe product, to install the driver right click on my computer > select properties > hardware > device manager > find your sound card will probably have an exclamation mark next it to, if its not working, right click this and select update driver, and point it at your cd drive.


  2. Insert the CD, go to My Computer.  Click on the CD, drivers folder and see if there is a setup.  If not, then. leave the CD in.

    Then go to Control Panel, System, Hardware, Device Manager.

    Any yellow marks next to an item needs a driver.  So click on that item and install driver. Choose have CD or browse to CD folder drivers.

  3. download a program called,version tracker pro,it installs out of date drivers and programs

  4. First thing after re-loading windows is to check for updates a few times

  5. just install the driver if it is the type of your system..
