How do I Remove The Sound From An Original Video In Windows Movie Maker So Im Left With Only The Backing Song?

i need to take the sound away from a movie i have made on my phone, ive put in in media player and added a backing song too it but im not sure how i take away the sound from the video please help

You need to MUTE the sound of the original video in Windows Movie Maker. It is very easy, although I don't remember how to do it offhand. Click on the HELP button and type in "mute" and it will give you step by step instructions.
