  1. reverse distribute the terms as though mg was a coeficiant

    mgH-mgh  = mg(H-h)

    now that you only have one term with m its easy just divide

    W/((H-h)+g)) = m


  2. W = m(gH - gh) = mg (H-h)

    m = W/(g(H-h))

  3. W = mgH – mgh

    W = m(gH – gh)

    m = W/(gH -- gh)
