How do I Start a dog walking business???

I am 13. I've have alreay attemptedputting some flyers all around the neighbourhood, but no one called for months and months. Please help!

~~Well the truth is it usually takes two or  more flyer's to the same home before you will get a call. It's repetitive that will finally get their attention. If you can afford a big box of a economical dog cookie and tie it to the flyer you will definitely get them to read it. (Do not put anything a mailbox it is a federal offense). Hang on the door in some way. If you have a vet office close to your neighborhood you can put a flyer in their office. You may want to offer one free dog walk just to get someone interested. Time and patience and a little ingenuity will get you going!~~

Find out which of your neighbours have dogs. Then, go and knock on their door at about 6 in the evening, and say "Hi, my name is ____, I run a dog walking business. I was wondering if you have walked your dog today? Oh you haven't? Well, I would be happy to do it for you, in exchange for x amount of money." or "Oh, you have? Well, what time would you like me to come round tomorrow?"

Have you tried "networking"?  Make business cards and start telling people face to face what you do.  Try building trust and rapport first by asking them questions and being genuinely interested in them and their dog.  Also, study the different breeds of dogs so that you become known  as an "expert".  The more you increase your value, the more you can serve others.
