  1. Your cats are giving you praise.

  2. Those are gifts.  Your cats love you.  Those are like offerings to you. You are the god in there little kitty world.  The only thing I can think of is to make them hate you and I don't think that is an option.  Good luck

  3. It is their way of showing you they love you and are bringing you a gift. You are supposed to praise them and tell them "good kitty". I have 3 feral cats, the other day, Scooter brought me a dead baby bird of prey. All day long, I had to protect her from the momma bird. We buried it in the woods later and said a prayer. My indoor cat doesn't even bother with mice in the basement. I don't think there is anything you can do - it is their way. gotta love them, that's all. Take care.

  4. I dont think that you can teach the cats to stop doing this.  They are bringing you a present because they love you.  It's their natural instinct to do this.  The only way you can avoid this from happening is to get rid of the mice around your house.

  5. From my 2 year old cat, I've had birds of varying sizes and states of dismemberment (heads off, wings off etc), little mice and even frogs!  Don't worry about it so much...it's actually a sign of affection!  And if your porch is carpeted, use that 1001 carpet cleaner spray. Works wonders!

  6. You can't. What you can do is keep them indoors where they are safe and not killing off native wildlife.

  7. close the door.

  8. YOU CAN PUT A BELL ON THE COLLAR. THIS WILL ALSO ALERT BIRDS, MICE, SMALL ANIMALS.

  9. feed your cat more so its not so hungry....lol jk....idk but its really annoying, isnt it?
