How do I VERY subtly flirt with a man on so he asks me out to lunch?

I have rejected his lunch offers because I'm too nervous to be around him as I'm SUPER attracted to him. So, the last time when he asked me to lunch, he immediately backed out, probably because he wanted to treat me with the same medicine. What is a way to get him to ask me to lunch again? How do I subliminally get him to ask me to lunch?
