  1. You need the original remote for the TV.  Find the menu button and start scrolling.  Eventually you'll find the closed-caption sub-menu and be able to turn it on or off.


  2. Hi there. There are two options. One is your own television. This should be accomplished by the tv's menu or the remote control for your tv. The other option is your cable box. They have the option in the menu of the box.
