How do I access the wireless settings on my computer?

apparently the settings saved on my computer are different than the network and that's why it won't work

You need to find out the router's/WAP's IP address. It is usually in the manual. Make sure all the connections are good. In IE, type the IP address in the address bar. You will need the password which should also be in the manual.

Open the network connections control panel.  Right click on your wireless connection and select properties.

Click on the Wireless network tab and delete all the network profiles that are listed.  Add a new one for your home network.

That should fix your problem.

In internet explorer... in the bar where you write the web site... (where now it says "htttp://answers.... " there... type HOME
