  1. Buddy passes are given to employees of the airlines for them to give or sell.

If you don't know anyone who works for an airline, then searching or posting on Craigslist would be about your only other option.

How much they cost is based on the destination and probably how long the employee has worked for the airline (seniority).

You always fly standby, so be prepared to get bumped.  There are also dress code standards for buddy pass flyers as often (if space allows) you will end up in first class.

  2. You need to know a person who works for an airline to get buddy passes, and being a former airline employee, there would be NO WAY I would hand out my passes to strangers on the internet.  You are traveling on that employee's name.  If you do something against the rules, that employee can have their travel privileges revoked.  Buy a ticket like the rest of the world, or get a job of your own with the airlines.

  3. Yay! My home country!

I'm not sure about the buddy pass, but are you a university student? If so, you can get massive university discounts at studentuniverse.com--that's I got a ticket back from India for like $750 when they usually run as high as $2000!

If you're not in college, try different discount sites such as hotwire.com, hotels.com, orbitz.com, cheaptickets.com, or priceline.com.

    Hope that helps

  4. all the websites mentioned above, doesn't work.. I'm always looking for cheap travel..

my advice look directly into the airlines websites. let's say

    TAM Airlines
