How do I activate my microsoft Office 2007? It keep asking me the product key, I did but it won't let me type

My new laptop has Windows Vista Home Premium and I tried to use the Microsoft Office 2007 but it asked me the key product, I entered it but it said invalid? Ithink there is a certain days after purchase to activate the microsoft 2007? What do I need to do, all I need is to able to type letter in Microsoft . Thanks.

put your mouse in the box and click

This is only the trial version. You need to buy the full licence and will be given a key. The key you are using is the Windows key, not office.

You could type it in Notepad- and then copy-paste it.

And no- you have forever to activate it.  You just can't use it after 30 days

Call microsoft up and they can activate it for you.

Type your letter in Wordpad, if you are stuck.

if you have the microsoft office 2007 CD reinstall it or use the product key that came with it........ if it still doesn't work....

then call the customer service dept,,,, they will help you for sure
