How do I ad a "hit counter" to my groups page description.?

I got a hit counter "code" from bravenet.com, added the Html to the description page, and, while the code doesn't appear on the description page, neither does the counter...

not sure if bravenet's works but other sites do. you also have to watch that you don't go over the character's allowed in the description area.  http://www.attractive-hit-counters.com/

There are several free hit counters that do work.   I've used them before however they do have a lot of letters. Just add the HTML code to your welcome message.  See the link below.
