How do I add a URL link to a calendar event description?

Question

I have created websites for sign-ups for my members to attend events and have descriptions of the events on those pages.

I am trying to list all of the events in the Calendar Section, but the links do NOT come up as Active? why?

it's just not a feature of the calendar. it would make for a good suggestion to yahoo however!
