how do I add a city to my weather? i have gone to add cities then it takes me right back to my home page.

Look at the weather module.  There is a space at the bottom that says add city or zip code.  Add the city name, and a new screen should pop up.  Click on the location that you were looking for, it should be in a list below the city search bar.
